Service Improvements at the Catalina Waste Transfer Station

Pima County, AZ (September 19, 2013) – Expanded services are now provided at the Catalina Waste Transfer Station, which is now open more days, accepts residential green waste year-round and allows waste from commercial haulers.

Owned by Pima County and now operated by Tucson Recycling & Waste Services, the facility, at 14425 North Oracle Road, is now open Monday through Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The disposal of bulk green waste is no longer restricted to a few months, and can now be disposed of throughout the entire year. Commercial businesses, previously excluded from using this transfer station, can now dispose of their waste at this location.
