Tucson, Arizona (December 1, 2006) The Pima County
Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) is holding an Open
House regarding the Brush Ceramic Products, Inc. air quality
permit on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. The Open House will be held
at the Sunnyside High School cafeteria, 1725 East Bilby Road,
Tucson, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Brush Ceramic Products, Inc.
is permitted for beryllium emissions.
The purpose of the Open House is to provide interested parties
with information regarding the PDEQ air quality permit issued
to Brush Ceramic Products on November 8, 2006. The Open House
will also provide information on the improvements that will take
place to the ongoing Sunnyside Unified School District air monitoring
network. Representatives from the Pima County Health Department,
Sunnyside School District, Tucson Fire Department, University
of Arizona, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Pima County
Department of Environmental Quality will be present to provide
information and answer questions.

permit are available on the PDEQ website at www.deq.pima.gov.
