NOTICE OF (First) HEARING: Rosemont Copper Company Appeal of Permit Application Denial, Monday, November 7 , 2011, at 1:00 p.m. Pima County Board of Supervisors Hearing Room located at 130 W. Congress, first floor, Tucson, AZ.
AIR QUALITY HEARING BOARD PURPOSE: To hear arguments and make decision on permit denial appeals, orders of abatement, conditional permits and Hearing Board procedures.
AUTHORIZATION: A.R.S. § 49-478, Pima County Ordinance 1990-114, BOS action 11-13-90.

NUMBER OF MEMBERS: Five County at-large members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The five members shall be knowledgeable in the field of air pollution. At least three members shall not have a substantial interest, as defined in ARS 38-502, in any person required to obtain a permit pursuant to the actions of this Board. No members shall be employees of the County or the State or any of its political subdivisions. Also, membership must include (Ord. 1979-93, amended by 1981-12):
1. A licensed attorney
2. A licensed physician
3. A registered professional engineer
APPOINTMENT DESIGNATION: Supervisor Appointment is unrestricted by district.
APPOINTMENT TERM: Three years
